What are the benefits of a breastfeeding class?
Mothers who take a prenatal breastfeeding class have the highest rates of breastfeeding success. Breastfeeding is a learned behavior for both the mother and her baby. When mothers learn the tools they need for breastfeeding success they are empowered to breastfeed their baby with confidence. Right after labor and delivery new mothers are busy with baby and family and not as receptive to breastfeeding information. Often new parents invest time and resources into preparing for the labor and delivery but assume that breastfeeding will come naturally. Allow us to best equip you with the knowledge to face your breastfeeding goals with confidence.
